The Aliment Software Technologies team has experience in implementing the following development models:
Where the clients' requirements and specifications are adequately clear, the Waterfall model is used. This is most commonly used model in Aliment Software Technologies.
This model consists of several cycles of development, each yealding a concrete deliverable in the form of a prototype. The developers define the highest priority feature initially. The first cycle implements these features and yields a prototype. The customer. Then evaluates it and is able to refine the requirement further. The Spiral model is followed for software specifications of evolving nature.
This model is used either when different versions of a system or product are being released or when the customer starts testing the software during the development.
In this model the project is broken into various `lines' of development after the initial design. The system is then developed and delivered in parts. Each line can be in sequence or in parallel. Each `line' has it's own distinct phases and can follow a different development methodology, depending on the nature and the complexity of the design. For a given project, the model to be used is however, decided by the nature of the project and is in mutual consultation with the Client. During any customer engagement, Aliment Software Technologies would set up a project team, led by a Project Manager, that would be responsible for
Software Technologies. The Project Manager is charged with the responsibility to make each project engagement a success and is therefore suitably empowered and goaled to achieve this objective. consultant |
